Job summary

Heidelberg Materials in Brisbane is seeking a Construction Site Manager to lead on-site activities, supervise subcontractors, and ensure safety and compliance from start to finish. You will drive delivery in line with the master program and project budget and maintain high safety standards across all works.

The role suits a hands-on leader with 2+ years in supervision or 4+ years in construction. A related degree or trade qualification is desirable, and a company vehicle is provided where

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role or 4 years’ construction industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Building/Construction or Diploma desirable.
• Strong organisational skills with cost-conscious mindset and sound commercial decisions.
• Practical, safety-focused, and capable coordinating contractors onsite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day onsite activities to ensure safe and compliant site operations.
• Coordinate subcontractors and support delivery in line with master program and project budget.
• Support and monitor site preparation activities and logistics.
• Maintain strong safety standards across all site works and programs.
• Hands-on leadership when required, comfortable on the tools while supervising.
