Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Construction Site Manager to lead on-site activities across Southeast Queensland. You will oversee subcontractors, ensure safety compliance, manage project delivery, and support site operations from start to finish.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, site coordination, and a commitment to safety and efficient resource management on dynamic construction sites near Brisbane.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory role or 4 years' construction industry.
• Desirable qualification such as a bachelor's degree, Diploma of Building & Construction, or trade qualification.
• Strong organisational skills with cost-conscious mindset and ability to manage resources.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day onsite activities to ensure safe, compliant operations.
• Coordinate subcontractors and support delivery in line with master program and budget.
• Support and monitor site preparation activities.
• Maintain strong safety standards across all site works.
• Step in hands-on when required, balancing leadership with on-site involvement.
