The role combines hands-on cleaning with leadership, requiring you to train teams, monitor performance and ensure food safety, hygiene and WHS compliance.

You will coordinate with clients and management to meet cleaning requirements while maintaining high standards and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in abattoir, meat processing or poultry factory cleaning.
• Experience supervising and managing cleaning teams.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and handle chemicals safely.
• Physically fit and willing to perform hands-on cleaning duties.

The successful candidate must have proven experience in meat and abattoir cleaning, strong leadership skills and the ability to supervise cleaning teams while actively participating in daily cleaning operations.

About you

Ability to operate cleaning equipment and handle chemicals safely

Physically fit and willing to perform hands-on cleaning duties

Reliable, flexible and able to work night shifts and weekends when required

Australian working rights and a current driver's licence
