Job summary

Millennium Services Group is seeking an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to lead our on-site cleaning team across a client site in NSW. You will ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety and service delivery while coordinating daily tasks and supporting team members.

The role involves roster management, training, quality checks and hands-on cleaning when required. A strong customer focus, good communication and knowledge of WH&S practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cleaning supervisor or team leader role.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning methods, chemicals and equipment.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.

• Manage rosters and assist with shift coverage as needed.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure all tools are safe and operational.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate ordering of cleaning supplies.

The Role

Millennium is seeking an experienced and hands-on Cleaning Supervisor to lead our cleaning team and ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety and service delivery across our client site.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being involved in daily operations, supporting a team, and making a positive impact through strong leadership and attention to detail.

You will play a key role in coordinating cleaning activities, supporting team members, maintaining client standards, and ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.

ROSTER

Mondays through Fridays from 6:00 to 14:36

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, support and motivate a team of cleaners
• Coordinate daily cleaning operations and ensure tasks are completed on time
• Allocate duties, manage priorities and conduct regular quality checks
• Monitor cleaning standards and ensure client requirements, KPIs and SLAs are achieved
• Provide training, coaching and guidance to team members
• Complete hands-on cleaning duties when required
• Manage rosters and assist with shift coverage as needed
• Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure all tools are safe and operational
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate ordering of cleaning supplies
• Respond professionally to client requests, feedback and concerns
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements
• Conduct toolbox talks (TBTs) and support ongoing safety practices
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members
• Take appropriate action when managing incidents, hazards or workplace issues

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in a cleaning supervisor or team leader role
• Strong commercial cleaning experience
• Experience leading, training and supporting a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisation and time management skills
• The ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure
• A customer-focused approach with experience managing client relationships
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, chemicals, equipment and industry standards
• Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
• Experience with roster management, stock control and toolbox talks
• Basic computer and mobile application skills
• The ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
• A valid driver's licence
