Job summary

Winey Cow Main Beach PTY LTD in Main Beach, QLD is seeking a qualified Chef or Cook for a hands-on, full-time role in our bustling kitchen. You will lead food preparation, cook dishes to order, and help uphold high hygiene and quality standards.

We value a genuine passion for food, a team-first attitude and HACCP experience. Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery is preferred, with 2–3 years in professional kitchens post-qualification. Two days off weekly.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' experience in commercial kitchens post qualification.
• HACCP experience (essential).
• Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation and cooking to order during service.
• Preparing, seasoning and cooking all dishes on our menu.
• Following hygienic food handling practices with a high emphasis on food hygiene.
• Assisting with staff training and mentoring.
• Assisting with menu design, implementation and costing (food and labour).
• Assisting with stock control and monitoring wastage.
• Staff rosters.
