Job summary

ButterBoy in Manly is seeking a skilled Baker for part-time or full-time roles. You will bake and finish cookies and seasonal products, following ButterBoy recipes and daily production plans. Deliver high-quality products while upholding brand standards and customer service in a busy retail bakery.

Join a team focused on fresh, daily deliveries and a share of the ButterBoy brand values. Prior bakery experience and food safety knowledge are essential; FSS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in a similar environment.
• Commercial cooking/pastry qualification, or reasonable amount of prior experience.
• NSW FSS (Food Safety Supervisor) Certificate (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Produce, bake and finish bakery products per ButterBoy recipes and daily schedules.
• Maintain consistent quality, appearance and portions across all baked goods.
• Follow recipes and production procedures to ensure food safety and consistency.
• Work efficiently to meet daily production targets with attention to detail.
• Assist with ingredient prep, mixing, shaping, baking and packing as required.
• Represent the ButterBoy brand with professionalism, teamwork and high-quality workmanship.
• Provide friendly product knowledge to customers and assist Front of House during busy periods.
