PCYC Townsville is seeking passionate Gymnastics Coaches who believe in fun-first coaching, smaller class sizes, and helping every child feel welcome in our programs. The role offers an hourly rate of $37.41, with junior rates possible, and includes paid training and Gymnastics Australia membership coverage.

Qualifications

• Grade 2: Minimum Intermediate Coaching Accreditation and current technical membership with Gymnastics Australia/Gymnastics Queensland.
• Holds a Gymnastics Australia Supervisor Certificate.
• Showcase expertise in working with children, young adults, special needs and diverse groups through sports.
• Maintain current First Aid and CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inclusive gymnastics programs for all ages.
• Help develop junior staff and build a strong, supportive coaching team.
• Promote and grow our gymnastics programs.
• Ensure equipment is well-maintained and safe for all participants.

As a PCYC Gymnastics Coach you’ll:

• Deliver engaging and inclusive gymnastics programs for all ages.

About You

• Grade 2: Minimum Intermediate Coaching Accreditation and current technical membership with Gymnastics Australia/Gymnastics Queensland
• Holds a GymnasticsAustralia 'Supervisor Certificate'
• Showcase your expertise in working with children, young adults, special needs, and socially challenged groups through sports and exercise.
• And, of course, don't forget your current First Aid and CPR certificate (or the enthusiasm to obtain it)!
