Job summary

VERVE Fitness Pty Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Gym Equipment Installer & Maintenance Technician to install premium equipment and keep it running for commercial gyms and luxury homes in Australia, with local work and occasional interstate travels.

You will join a two-person installer team, supported by customer service, and enjoy real responsibility to fix problems on the spot, with ongoing training and opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Hands-on and mechanically minded; has done installs, fit-outs, field service or a trade.
• Capable of heavy lifting as part of a two-person team.
• Calm and clear on the phone; can explain fixes without jargon.
• Able to adapt when plans change.
• Trade background, forklift licence, white card, or gym equipment experience.

Responsibilities

• Install premium equipment in commercial gyms, fitness centres and luxury homes, local and interstate.
• Service, troubleshoot and repair VERVE equipment on site.
• Get on the phone to help customers with install, repair and maintenance issues, and line up the work that follows.
• Repair and maintain equipment in our Upper Coomera warehouse.
• Work with customer service, logistics and sales to get every job done right the first time.

Gym Equipment Installer & Maintenance Technician

Our equipment sets the standard in Australia for durability, performance and design. We’re hiring an Installer & Maintenance Technician to install it, keep it running, and look after the people who train on it.

The job

No two weeks are the same. One day you’re fitting out a commercial gym, the next you’re in the warehouse bringing a machine back to spec, and between jobs you’re on the phone talking a gym owner through a fault. Most work is local. Some weeks include interstate jobs, and now and then you’ll stay overnight. Plans change at short notice. If you need the same routine every Monday, this isn’t for you. If you like variety, you’ll love it.

What you’ll do

• Install premium equipment in commercial gyms, fitness centres and luxury homes, local and interstate
• Service, troubleshoot and repair VERVE equipment on site
• Get on the phone to help customers with install, repair and maintenance issues, and line up the work that follows
• Repair and maintain equipment in our Upper Coomera warehouse
• Work with customer service, logistics and sales to get every job done right the first time

About you

• Hands-on and mechanically minded. You’ve done installs, fit-outs, field service or a trade, and you can talk us through your work
• Fit and comfortable lifting heavy equipment as part of a two-person team
• Calm and clear on the phone. You can explain a fix to a customer without jargon
• Good at adjusting when the plan changes
• Highly regarded: a trade background, forklift licence, white card, or gym equipment experience

The team

You’ll be one of two installers working side by side, supported by our Customer Service Manager, who coordinates customer cases. It’s a no-ego team where everyone pitches in.
