Job summary

Queens Beach Hotel, part of ALH Hotels, invites a Guest Services Supervisor to join our team in the Whitsundays a busy hospitality hub. You will support the Venue Manager, lead the guest service team, and ensure our accommodation meets the ALH standard.

You will coach staff, model safety and procedures, and drive memorable guest experiences. The role is hands-on, requires lifting, and values passion, teamwork and a can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest services leadership or supervision is required.
• Strong communication and coaching skills to inspire the team.
• Ability to model ALH standards in guest service, cleanliness and presentation.

You might have guest it - we’re looking for our next superstar Supervisor to support the Venue Manager in all things guest services. In this exciting role, you’ll engage and inspire the team to deliver a memorable guest stay. You’ll have a knack for creating passion about procedure and motivate your team to meet the ALH standard in our accommodation offerings.

A day in the life of a Guest Services Supervisor:

• Act as a role model and a visionary, creating excitement and enthusiasm around the guest experience
• Utilise your communication and leadership skills to inspire and empower your team to achieve ALH standards across guest service, cleanliness and presentation
• Promote a culture that is centred around safety and procedural compliance

What do we need from you

About You

• You are great with people, policy and procedure and feel passionate about providing amazing guest experiences
• You know how to deliver on the detail and ability to coach your team to do the same
• You have experience in the retail, sales or hospitality leadership world and the desire to be part of an organisation where you can dream big about your career
• You’ll be yourself and come as you are - ALH is known for its people!

Inherent Requirements

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
