Job summary

Forest Hotel is seeking a Kitchen Attendant to join our vibrant ALH pub team. You’ll help with food prep, assist the kitchen team, and contribute to a safe, efficient service environment.

You’ll thrive working independently or with colleagues, bring a can-do attitude, and show attention to detail. Flexibility across day, evenings, and weekends is essential to keep our busy kitchen running smoothly.

A day in the life of a Kitchen Attendant:

• Engage in food preparation and additional tasks as directed by your team leader
• Proactively identify and address cleaning opportunities in all areas of the kitchen in line with our high food and safety standards
• Contribute positively to our culture of responsibility, which is centred around safety and procedural compliance

About you:

• You love working independently or as part of a team to perform routine tasks
• You have flexible availability across the day, evenings and weekends
• You are all about the detail and take pride in the work that you deliver
• You’ll be yourself and come as you are - ALH is known for its people!

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands‑on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
