Job summary

ALH Hotels is hiring a Kitchen Attendant at the Esplanade Hotel in Adelaide. You will support kitchen operations, assist with prep and cleanup, and help maintain safety and quality standards in a fast-paced pub kitchen.

You’ll work both independently and as part of a team, with flexible availability across day, evenings and weekends. The role suits someone who takes pride in attention to detail and contributes to a positive workplace culture.

A Day In The Life Of a Kitchen Attendant

• Engage in food preparation and additional tasks as directed by your team leader
• Proactively identify and address cleaning opportunities in all areas of the kitchen in line with our high food and safety standards
• Contribute positively to our culture of responsibility, which is centred around safety and procedural compliance

About You

• You love working independently or as part of a team to perform routine tasks
• You have flexible availability across the day, evenings and weekends
• You are all about the detail and take pride in the work that you deliver
• You’ll be yourself and come as you are - ALH is known for its people!

Inherent Requirements

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
