Job summary

The NRMA Parks & Resorts in Forster–Tuncurry seeks a Guest Service Attendant to welcome guests, handle bookings and payments, and provide helpful information about park facilities and local attractions.

You’ll assist with reservations, answer inquiries by phone and email, and work with housekeeping, maintenance and activities to ensure a seamless guest experience. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, reception, tourism or hospitality.
• Cash handling and/or booking system experience.
• Good local knowledge of the Forster–Tuncurry area, or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests on arrival and provide friendly, professional service.
• Manage check-ins and check-outs, including bookings and payments.
• Answer guest enquiries about the park, local area, facilities and activities.
• Assist with phone and email reservations and general reception duties.

What you’ll be doing

As a Guest Service Attendant, you’ll:

• Welcome guests on arrival and providefriendly, professional service
• Managecheck‑ins and check‑outs, including bookings and payments
• Answer guest enquiries about the park, local area, facilities and activities
• Assist with phone and email reservations and general reception duties
• Help guests with any issues and find solutions quickly and calmly
• Provide information about park rules, safety and amenities
• Support day‑to‑day reception tasks, such as filing, data entry and cash handling
• Work closely with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, activities) to deliver a smooth guest experience

About you

You’re the kind of person who:

• Loves interacting with people and deliveringgreat customer service
• Is confident using computers and picking up new systems
• Stays calm, polite and professional – even when things get busy
• Is organised, reliable and has good attention to detail
• Can work a mix ofweekdays, weekends, school holidays and public holidays

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Experience in customer service, reception, tourism, hospitality or similar
• Cash handling and/or booking system experience (front office systems highly regarded)
• Good local knowledge of the Forster–Tuncurry area, or willingness to learn
