Job summary

EQ Hotel Management Pty Ltd is opening 1 Spring Street Hotel & Residences in Elizabeth Quay, Perth. We seek a friendly Guest Service Agent to welcome guests, manage check-in/check-out, and assist with bookings and guest requests as part of our founding team.

As a pre-opening team member, you will participate in training, establish service standards, and work across operations to ensure a polished guest experience from day one. Availability includes weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in front office or guest services in a hotel or serviced residence.
• Warm, professional manner with a passion for personalised service.
• Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
• Opera Cloud PMS experience is highly regarded.
• Confident in handling payments and maintaining records.
• Able to manage competing priorities and stay calm under pressure.
• Flexible, hands-on and collaborative across operations.
• Rotating roster availability, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and manage check-in/check-out efficiently and professionally.
• Manage reservations, room allocations and guest profiles.
• Process payments and maintain guest accounts.
• Respond promptly to guest enquiries and requests.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for arrivals.
• Assist with luggage, transport arrangements and local tips.
• Support personalised welcome arrangements and special requests.
• Collaborate with restaurant and operations teams to deliver seamless service.
• Maintain accurate shift handovers and protect guest privacy.
• Follow hotel procedures and health and safety requirements.
