Job summary

Ovolo Melbourne, part of the Ovolo Group, is looking for a Wonder Maker, a.k.a. Guest Service Agent, to join our lively South Yarra team. You will be the first impression of the hotel and brand, delivering warm hospitality with the brand’s unique personality.

This part-time role requires flexibility with hours. You’ll greet guests, check them in/out, assist with bookings, promote hotel experiences, and help guests across in-person, phone, email, and online channels.

Qualifications

• A strong passion for customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Front office experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they enter the hotel.
• Check in and check out guests.
• Modify and adjust guest bookings as needed.
• Promote the hotel and its offerings to guests.
• Make suggestions to guests based on local knowledge.
• Attend to guest enquiries in person, by phone, email, or online.
• Support the Front Office management team to ensure smooth hotel operations.

The Gig

We are on the lookout for our next Wonder Maker, aka Guest Service Agent, to join our fun and exciting team. As our GSA, you will be the first point of contact for our guests when entering any of our hotels. You will be their first impression of the hotel and brand, and we want it to be a lasting impression! This is a Part-Time role and will require flexibility with availability. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Greeting guests as they enter the hotel
• Checking in & out guests
• Modify and adjust guest bookings accordingly
• Promote the hotel and all it has to offer!
• Make suggestions to guests from your knowledge of the area
• Attending to guest enquiries in person or via phone, email, and website
• Supporting the Front Office management team in ensuring the smooth running of hotel operations
