Job summary

Landmark Resort in Nelson Bay is seeking a friendly Guest Service Agent (GSA) for a part-time Front Office role. You will welcome guests, handle check-in/out, respond to inquiries, and promote resort services to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Ideal candidates bring hospitality or customer service experience, strong communication skills and the ability to work weekdays, weekends and public holidays. A 3-month trial applies with potential for a full-time position.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality or a similar role.
• Previous reception or front office experience is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, confident and professional manner.
• Strong problem solving and calm under pressure.
• Good computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Experience with Resly or other accommodation management systems is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a small team.
• Availability to work a combination of weekdays, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and welcoming guests and completing check-in/check-out efficiently.
• Responding to guest enquiries, requests and complaints with a friendly, solutions-focused approach.
• Providing information about the resort, local attractions, restaurants and services.
• Answering phones and responding to emails.
• Promoting resort facilities, services and special offers.
• Processing payments and assisting with daily banking.
• Completing general reception and administration duties.
• Liaising with housekeeping and maintenance to attend to guest needs promptly.
• Maintaining a high standard of presentation, service and professionalism.
• Following resort policies, procedures and workplace health and safety requirements.
