Job summary

Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin is seeking a full-time Uniformed Security Officer to protect the casino and hotel premises and deliver excellent guest experiences. You will monitor areas, handle incidents, and assist guests with enquiries in a collaborative team environment.

The role requires a Security and Crowd Control Licence from NT Government, First-aid/CPR, RSA and RSG certificates, and a minimum of 2 years in security.

Qualifications

• NT Government Security and Crowd Control Licence is required.
• First-aid and CPR Certificates are required.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol and Responsible Service of Gambling Certificates are required.
• Casino Operative License or willingness to obtain one.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a security-related role is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol premises within the casino and hotel complex.
• Report and prevent entry of unauthorized guests.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies promptly and follow procedures.
• Observe and report security-related incidents, suspicious activities, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences.
• Complete tasks in line with federal and territory legislation.
• Provide customer service by answering enquiries and offering assistance when needed.
• Provide first aid assistance when required.
