Job summary

The Star Sydney is seeking a Food & Beverage Attendant for Harvest Buffet to deliver attentive service in a high-volume casual dining setting on-site in Sydney. You will help guests enjoy a world-class buffet experience and support the team across service periods.

Responsibilities include taking orders, learning the menu, supporting with setup and closing duties, and ensuring guests have a memorable visit. NSW RSA is required; flexible hours and a competitive hourly rate apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced restaurant with knowledge of food and beverage.
• Passion for delivering outstanding service and a memorable guest experience.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible availability to meet venue operating hours.
• Current NSW RSA card (or interim certificate).

Responsibilities

• Take orders accurately and deliver food and beverages in a timely manner.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the venue’s menu and current promotions.
• Anticipate guests' needs to provide personalised service and recommendations.
• Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies and dietary needs to the kitchen.
• Collaborate with your team to provide efficient and seamless service.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as required, including setup and breakdown of the dining area.
