Job summary

The Star Sydney is seeking a Food & Beverage Attendant to join our casual dining team. You will deliver exceptional service, take orders, and help guests enjoy a world-class dining experience across Harvest Buffet and our venues.

Ideal candidates will have experience in fast-paced hospitality, strong communication, and a NSW RSA certificate. This on-site role offers competitive pay, meal on site, staff discounts, and opportunities for career development at The Star Academy.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant with sound knowledge around food and beverage
• Passion for delivering outstanding service and a drive to provide a memorable experience
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
• Flexible availability to meet venue operating hours
• Current NSW RSAcard (or interim certificate)

Responsibilities

• Take orders accurately and efficiently, and deliver food and beverages in a timely manner
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the venue’s menu and current promotions including ingredients and preparation methods
• Anticipate guests needs to understand their preferences to provide personalised service and recommendations
• Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies and dietary needs to the kitchen
• Collaborate with your team to provide efficient and seamless service
• Assist with opening and closing duties as required, including setting up and breaking down of the dining area

As a Food & Beverage Attendant in one of casual dining restaurants, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all guests, ensuring that the first and last impression is memorable.
