Job summary

Best Western Olde Maritime in Warrnambool, VIC is seeking a Casual Food & Beverage Attendant to join our team. This role supports breakfast and dinner service at Clovelly Restaurant & Bar, reporting to the General Manager, and involves guest interaction, order taking, service, and maintaining dining area standards.

The successful candidate will work in a guest-focused environment, collaborate with kitchen and bar staff, and contribute to a positive dining experience for hotel guests and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service by taking orders accurately, answering inquiries and ensuring guest satisfaction
• Prepare and serve food and beverages according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines
• Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of dining areas, including tables, chairs and service stations
• Process payments accurately, handle cash and operate POS systems efficiently
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling and storage of food items
• Work collaboratively with kitchen, bar and other hotel team members to ensure smooth operations
• Work with the General Manager and the team to enhance guest service standards that meet and exceed our guests’ expectations
