Job summary

Belgravia Leisure is seeking a Guest Experience Officer at ACT, Gungahlin Leisure Centre to deliver first-class customer service at reception and sales points. You will handle bookings, memberships, and centre enquiries while promoting programs and maintaining strong customer relations.

The role is casual with opportunities for growth and free facility access, ideal for friendly individuals who enjoy a customer-facing environment and a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service to all customers, in person and over the phone.
• Apply sound cash handling principles and use of POS systems.
• Assist customers with membership inquiries and sales at join/renew.
• Promote centre services and take bookings/enrolments.
• Develop and maintain good customer relations.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all customers, both in person and over the telephone
• Apply sound cash handling principals and use of Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Provide customers inquiring about memberships with information and have the knowledge to sell memberships when a person joins or renews
• Promote the centres services and programs to customers and accept customer bookings and enrolments
• Develop and maintain good working relations with customers
• Promote and exercise good public relations at all times
• Opening/closing of the centre in accordance with security and safety procedures
