Job summary

NRMA Parks & Resorts is looking for a Guest Experience Manager at the Blue Dolphin Resort. You’ll lead the activities team, design engaging experiences, host events, and mentor staff to deliver memorable moments for guests of all ages.

You’ll work closely with the Resort Manager to evolve the activities calendar, ensure safety, and keep the atmosphere welcoming and fun across peak periods and holidays.

Qualifications

• Outgoing personality and love for working with people of all ages.
• Comfort hosting events, speaking on the microphone, and inviting participation.
• Experience in facilitating group activities.
• Strong customer service skills and making guests feel welcome.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, public holidays, and school holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Guest Experience (activities) team to create memorable experiences for guests.
• Design, coordinate and run a range of activities and events (themed nights, movie nights, crafts).
• Lead by example and participate in activities when needed to set the fun tone.
• Collaborate with Resort Manager to evolve the activities calendar.
• Mentor, train and roster the Activities team; ensure safety and smooth operations.
• Maintain equipment, run audits, and keep a welcoming environment.
