Job summary

Sea World on the Gold Coast is seeking a Guest Services Host to welcome guests with warmth and professional service. This part-time role sits across the Guest Services Office, Animal Adventure Centre and Reception Desk, helping set the scene for an unforgettable visit from the moment guests arrive.

The role requires strong people skills, a current First Aid/CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain), and the ability to work a seven-day rotating roster including weekends and school holidays.

Qualifications

• Provide First Aid and CPR certificate is required, or willing to obtain prior to commencement.
• Well-developed organisational and administrative skills.
• Previous reception experience with communication systems/switchboard.
• Positive, friendly and enthusiastic personality.
• Professional attitude with exceptional customer service.
• Proven conflict resolution and complaint handling skills.
• Ability to use initiative to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
• Must be available to work seven-day rotating roster including weekends, school holidays and evening functions.

Responsibilities

• Answering telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries.
• Assisting lost and found inquiries per procedures.
• Processing Animal Adventure bookings and ticket upgrades.
• Conducting VIP escorts and park familiarizations.
• Handling feedback or complaints and following procedures.
• Main Reception duties including switchboard, mail/courier processing and daily reporting.
• Responding to emergencies in line with policy and procedures.
• Providing thorough knowledge of Village Roadshow Theme Parks properties.
