Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Guest Experience Host in Caloundra to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales at our resort. You will create memorable experiences for guests, build rapport, and work closely with resort operations to ensure smooth check-in and high guest satisfaction.

The role requires friendly, professional presentation, strong communication, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. RSA and a valid driver’s license are desirable.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer service in hospitality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
• Experience with a PMS system (Opera) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Generate sales appointments for resort sales centers.
• Build rapport with customers to ensure an exceptional experience.
• Collaborate with resort operations to ensure seamless guest check-in.
• Explain benefits of travelling within the Travel + Leisure Co. community.
• Meet and aim for targets and KPIs set by the business.

How You'll Shine

As a Guest Experience Host, you will be at the forefront of creating memorable experiences while driving sales. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Generating sales appointments for our sales centers located at our amazing resort
• Establishing commonality and building rapport with your customers to ensure an exceptional experience is delivered
• Working closely with the resort operations team to provide a high level of service and a seamless transition for owners and guests through the check-in process
• Clearly articulating the benefits of travelling within the Wyndham Destinations community
• Meeting targets and KPIs as set by the business

• Have the ability to recognise and solve problems in the workplace
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, public and school holidays.
