Taronga Zoo Sydney invites applications for experienced Guest Experience Officers to join our team. You’ll work across ticketing, validation, presentations, car park and wharf operations, spending time outdoors and staying active while engaging with guests.

Qualifications

• Availability to work weekends, public holidays and other peak visitation periods.
• Experience managing large crowds and responding to guest enquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
• Willingness to learn and confidently use new systems, technology and processes.
• Obtain and maintain a current paid NSW Working with Children Check at own expense.
• Hold a current NSW Drivers License or ability to have existing license formally recognised.
• Ability to meet the inherent physical requirements of the role, including prolonged periods of standing, walking and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline customer service and manage visitor flow.
• Respond to guest enquiries and concerns in a timely, professional manner.
• Support operational activities across Ticketing, Validation, Presentations, Car Park and Wharf Operations.
• Contribute to a safe, welcoming and engaging environment for all guests.
• Balance guest needs with operational and safety requirements while working with a high-performing team.
