Job summary

Taronga Western Plains Zoo Dubbo is seeking bubbly and vibrant casual Guest Experience Officers to deliver top-notch Taronga Zoo service for young guests and school holiday programs such as Zoo Adventures.

The role involves 8:00am to 5:00pm shifts, 7 days a week during school holidays, with 2–3 shifts on average in a holiday period. Commencement is October 2026. On-the-job training and a world-class customer service focus are provided.

Qualifications

• Current NSW Working with Children Check is required.
• Passion for delivering engaging youth entertainment and education programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class customer service across visitor operations and programs.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver Taronga Zoo education and conservation messages.
• Support general guest operations across the zoo.
• Align communications with Taronga’s values to inspire change.
• Participate in on-the-job training and contribute to a high-performing team.
