Job summary

Canterbury League Club is seeking a friendly Guest Experience and Security Officer to welcome members and guests and uphold a safe, enjoyable atmosphere. You will be a primary contact at arrival and assist with enquiries while monitoring venue safety and entry protocols.

Ideal candidates bring hospitality experience, calm professional presence, and solid communication. RSA/RCG and security qualifications, First Aid, and availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or customer-facing environments preferred.
• Current NSW RSA Competency Card required.
• Current NSW RCG Competency Card preferred.
• Security Licence and First Aid certification recommended.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to members and guests at all times.
• Create a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable environment throughout the Club.
• Assist members and visitors with enquiries and provide information about Club facilities and services.
• Monitor and maintain Club entry requirements.
• Build positive relationships with members, guests, and colleagues through professional interactions.
• Identify and respond to incidents when required.
• Support Duty Managers and operations teams in maintaining a safe venue.
• Assist in managing customer-related issues through effective communication.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Guest Experience and Security Officer.

You will be one of the first points of contact for our members and guests, helping create a welcoming and enjoyable experience from the moment they arrive. You will play an important role in maintaining a safe and positive environment.

This role is suited to someone who enjoys engaging with people, takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service, and remains calm and confident when dealing with challenging situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Duty Managers and operational teams in maintaining a safe venue.

• Current NSW RSA Competency Card.
• Current NSW RCG Competency Card.
• Current Class 1A Security Licence.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
