Job summary

CBUS Super is seeking a Manager, Monitoring Controls & Governance (Strategy & Growth) in Melbourne. Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, you will strengthen risk management, governance and assurance across the business unit and support regulatory readiness.

You will lead risk reviews, coordinate control testing and provide executive reporting to inform decision-making while embedding accountability across stakeholders. This is a permanent full-time Melbourne role.

Qualifications

• Experience in risk management, governance, controls, compliance or assurance within a regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of risk frameworks, control design, issue management and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve Strategy & Growth risk and control environment, including risk registers, assessments and treatment plans.
• Coordinate and oversee control testing, remediation, audit actions and compliance activities to strengthen resilience.
• Monitor and report risk, compliance and governance outcomes with insights for management and governance forums.
• Support regulatory engagements and ensure evidence, obligations and deliverables are managed and documented.
• Partner with stakeholders to embed risk-aware decision making across business change and transformation initiatives.
