Job summary

Valiant Finance, an Australian commercial finance platform, is seeking a Growth Marketer to acquire, convert and retain more small business customers. The role focuses on full-funnel ownership, experimentation and measurable outcomes across paid, organic and lifecycle marketing.

You’ll work with product, creative, sales and analytics teams to design tests, optimize funnels and drive revenue. A data-driven mindset and collaboration across departments are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in growth, performance or digital marketing.
• Experience in start-up, scale-up or growth-focused agency.

Responsibilities

• Plan, launch and optimise paid campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Google (search, display and YouTube) and LinkedIn.
• Identify and test new acquisition channels, including programmatic, partnerships, referral and content-led growth.
• Support organic SEO and content opportunities that drive high-intent traffic.
• Map and optimise the funnel from first click to Lead, and Lead to qualified Opportunity.
• Run A/B and multivariate tests on landing pages, forms, onboarding flows and creative.
• Collaborate with designers and copywriters to develop and iterate on messaging and assets.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 4–6 years in growth, performance or digital marketing, ideally at a start-up, scale-up or growth-focused agency.

What You’ll Be Doing

Acquisition

• Paid Growth: Plan, launch and optimise paid campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Google (search, display and YouTube) and LinkedIn, with a focus on efficient, scalable customer acquisition.
• Channel Exploration: Identify and test new acquisition channels, including programmatic, partnerships, referral and content-led growth.
• Organic Support: Work with the team on SEO and content opportunities that drive high-intent traffic.
• Funnel Optimisation: Map and improve the journey from first click to Lead, and from Lead to qualified Opportunity.
• CRO & Testing: Run A/B and multivariate tests across landing pages, forms, onboarding flows and creative.
• Creative Collaboration: Partner with designers and copywriters to develop and iterate on messaging and assets that convert.

Lifecycle & Retention

• Lifecycle Marketing: Build and optimise email and SMS journeys that nurture Leads, re-engage dormant prospects and bring customers back for repeat finance.
• Segmentation: Use customer and behavioural data to deliver more relevant, personalised communications.

Analytics & Insights

• Measurement: Own reporting on growth metrics across the funnel using tools like Google Analytics and Salesforce, and help improve tracking and attribution.
• Insight to Action: Surface clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders and prioritise the experiments with the biggest potential impact.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

• Proven Results: A track record of driving measurable growth through paid acquisition, CRO or lifecycle marketing.
• Analytical Strength: Comfort working with data, building reports and drawing sound conclusions from test results.
• Full-Funnel Perspective: An understanding of how acquisition, conversion and retention work together.
• Communication: The ability to explain results and influence decisions across cross-functional teams.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with marketing automation or CRM platforms.
• Familiarity with product analytics tools (e.g. Mixpanel, Amplitude) and SEO tools.
• SQL or experience working with data warehouses.
• Basic HTML and CSS for landing page and email tweaks.
• Experience in fintech, lending or B2B/SMB marketing.
