Job summary

Metcash is seeking a high-impact leader to shape enterprise risk, resilience and business continuity across the national business. You’ll work with senior leaders to influence strategic decisions, strengthen governance and ensure preparedness against evolving risk landscapes, all within a flexible and supportive environment.

The role focuses on developing risk management frameworks, partnering with business leaders to identify and manage strategic and operational risks, and delivering insightful

Qualifications

• Experience in Enterprise Risk Management, Compliance, Audit or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of risk, governance and assurance frameworks.
• Experience working within a regulated or complex corporate environment.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Strong communication and executive reporting capability
• Proven analytical skills with the ability to solve complex business challenges.

Responsibilities

• Drive the ongoing development of Metcash's Enterprise Risk Management and Business Resilience Frameworks.
• Partner with business leaders to identify, assess and manage strategic and operational risks.
• Deliver risk reporting and insights to senior leadership, governance committees and the Board.
• Lead business continuity, crisis management and operational resilience initiatives.
• Oversee and lead Security of Critical Infrastructure (SoCI) risk management obligations.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and provide risk leadership across the business.
