Novotel Surfers Paradise is seeking a Group Reservations Agent to coordinate group bookings—from corporate conferences and weddings to tour groups and events. You will manage inquiries, liaise with sales and events teams, and ensure every detail is flawless from enquiry to arrival.

The ideal candidate has hotel reservations or front desk experience, superb attention to detail, strong communication, and familiarity with Opera Cloud.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel reservations, front desk, or events coordination.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple bookings and deadlines.
• Familiarity with hotel PMS systems (Opera Cloud preferred).

Job Description

As a Group Reservations Agent, you will be the primary point of contact for coordinating, managing, and executing group bookings-from corporate conferences and weddings to tour groups and special events. You'll ensure every detail is handled with precision, delivering a flawless experience from inquiry through to arrival.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate group reservations from initial enquiry through to departure
• Liaise with sales, front office, and events teams to ensure smooth execution
• Input and maintain accurate booking data in reservation systems
• Monitor room allocations, rates, contracts, and cut-off dates
• Prepare rooming lists, reports, and group arrivals
• Handle special requests, changes, and last-minute adjustments professionally
• Deliver excellent customer service to clients, agents, and internal stakeholders
