Job summary

James Pascoe Group's Summer Hill office is seeking a proactive Group Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. In this role, you will coordinate and oversee accounts receivable processes within your area, focusing on accuracy, timing and customer service in a fast-paced retail finance environment.

You will process finance applications, liaise with merchant services and resolve queries, ensuring timely collections, accurate allocations and strong stakeholder communication with SAP

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience with a large ERP system such as SAP.
• MS Excel – intermediate to advanced.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Flexible, proactive and detail-focused.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end closing of the AR ledger and reconcile GL accounts.
• Process finance applications for Humm Big Things, Humm online, Humm Tap, and Latitude Finance.
• Liaise with merchant services teams to resolve store and customer queries.
• Ensure timely collection of debts and manage outstanding amounts.
• Resolve customer disputes and ensure accurate payments via SAP.
• Review online sales transactions, including fraud checks and chargebacks.
• Communicate with stakeholders and manage both physical and digital records.
• Process webstore refunds and handle ANZ chargebacks.

About The Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Group Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team! In this key role, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing accounts receivable procedures within your designated area. What will you do?

• Support month-end closing of the accounts receivable ledger and reconcile general ledger accounts for finance products.
• Process finance applications for Humm Big Things, Humm online, Humm Tap, and Latitude Finance.
• Liaise with Humm and Latitude merchant services teams to resolve store and customer queries.
• Ensure timely collection of outstanding debts and maintain acceptable levels of outstanding amounts.
• Resolve customer disputes and ensure accurate allocation and receipting of payments using SAP.
• Review and manage online sales transactions, including fraud checks and chargeback queries.
• Process webstore refunds and handle ANZ chargebacks.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining both physical and digital management systems.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar role
• Experience and exposure to a large ERP system such as SAP
• Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel skills
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Flexible and adaptable, with a proactive and energetic approach to tasks and challenges.
• Strong attention to detail
• Positive and friendly attitude with the ability to work with several stakeholders
