Job summary

Ingenia Communities Group is seeking a Full-Time Grounds & Maintenance Officer for our South West Rocks Holidays site. You will maintain gardens, support site presentation and safety, and respond to maintenance requests.

Reporting to the Park Manager, you’ll keep the park clean, safe, and welcoming for guests, with duties including pruning, mowing, repairs, and logging maintenance. A current C-class licence and practical knowledge of site safety are preferred.

Qualifications

• Grounds and maintenance experience
• Current C class driver licence
• Ability to interact with residents and guests

Responsibilities

• Maintain garden areas through pruning, weeding, mowing, edging, and mulching.
• Keep grounds clean and safe by clearing debris and maintaining pool areas (where applicable).
• Carry out general repairs and maintenance of tools, lighting, fencing, and painting.
• Respond to resident/guest maintenance requests and escalate to trades when needed.
• Support site presentation and report damage or incidents, logging all maintenance activities.

Reporting to the Park Manager, you’ll play a key role in keeping the park looking beautiful, safe, and welcoming — ensuring guests enjoy a clean, well‑maintained environment every day.

In this Role, You’ll

• Maintain all garden areas through pruning, weeding, fertilising, replanting, mulching, hedging, mowing and edging.
• Keep grounds clean and safe by clearing debris, collecting bins, spraying for weeds/pests, and maintaining pool areas (if applicable).
• Carry out general repairs and maintenance, including tools, equipment, lighting, fixtures, fencing, BBQs and basic painting.
• Respond to resident/guest maintenance requests, provide feedback on contractor work, and escalating issues to trades when needed.
• Support site presentation and security by reporting damage or incidents and accurately logging all maintenance and repair activities.
