Job summary

Confidential in Australia is building its operational backbone from Melbourne, with a hands-on role spanning logistics, inventory, invoicing and office support. You’ll report to the Group Operations team based in Singapore and act as the go-to person for the local team to get things done.

The role involves coordinating freight, managing stock, and ensuring accurate invoicing while maintaining smooth office functions in a fast-growing operation.

Qualifications

• Around 5 years' experience in logistics, warehousing, or operations.
• Experience with freight forwarders, brokers and inventory systems.
• Able to wear multiple hats in a small or growing business.
• International or multi-country logistics experience is a plus.
• Organised, accurate and calm with priorities.

Responsibilities

• Booking and coordinating domestic and international freight, from paperwork through to customs clearance.
• Collaborating with freight forwarders, customs brokers and carriers to track shipments and fix delays.
• Assisting with forecasting, order processing and stock replenishment.
• Being the main contact for an outsourced warehouse: receiving, storage, pick-pack and dispatch.
• Running regular stock counts and reconciliations to match system records.
• Spotting shortages or discrepancies and raising them with suppliers.
• Matching supplier invoices and purchase orders, and assisting with month-end reporting.
• Handling office supplies and supporting team events.
