Job summary

Petstock Group in Australia is seeking an experienced Salon Manager to oversee grooming operations across three Hills District salons: Castle Hill, Dural, and Rouse Hill. You will lead the team, uphold safety standards, and ensure brand grooming styles and high-quality service.

The role focuses on driving salon profitability, coordinating bookings with the Store Manager, coaching junior groomers, and delivering exceptional customer experiences while maintaining strong safety practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role or a senior Groomer ready to take that leadership step in their career
• Ability to create and embed strong safety practices throughout the salon and store
• Good knowledge of specific breed clips, with a commitment to maintaining grooming styles and brand/product knowledge
• Physically fit, with the ability to lift heavy animals as required
• Demonstrated experience in handling and working with live animals
• Maintain advanced understanding of zoonotic and skin diseases and how to identify them
• Proven ability to exceed grooming KPIs through high-quality care, customer satisfaction, and strong team collaboration
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively engage with customers and team members
• Strong attention to detail

• Providing outstanding dog grooming services in store.
• Drive the profit and sales success of the salon, achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Coordinate the salon and clients including bookings in conjunction with the Store Manager
• Assist store shop floor team when required, providing exceptional customer service where you and your customer will have memorable, meaningful interactions
• Maintaining specific breed clips, while consistently upholding grooming standards and brand/product knowledge
• Managing and coaching junior groomers
• Create strong safety mindset, committed to fostering a culture of safety within your team
