Petstock Tamworth is seeking a dedicated dog groomer to join our team, delivering professional grooming services across breeds with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

You will coordinate with the Store Manager, manage client bookings, and contribute to a positive salon environment while maintaining stock and achieving grooming KPIs. This role is on-site and offers opportunities to grow with a pet-loving, community-minded brand.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in professional dog grooming.
• Qualification in Grooming preferred.
• Ability to create and embed strong safety practices throughout the salon and store.
• Good knowledge of breed clips and grooming styles.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy animals.
• Demonstrated experience in handling live animals.
• Knowledge of zoonotic and skin diseases and how to identify them.
• Proven ability to exceed grooming KPIs through high-quality care and customer satisfaction.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Aufgaben

• Provide full grooming services for a variety of breeds, including bathing, drying, nail clipping, brushing, combing and breed-specific clipping.
• Provide a positive grooming experience for all customers and their dogs.
• Coordinate the grooming salon and clients with the Store Manager.
• Make client bookings.
• Assist store shop floor team and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Maintain high salon presentation and oversee stock management.
• Work with Store Manager to meet sales targets and program KPIs.
• Support local marketing opportunities and recruitment referral programs.
• Work with the team to achieve and exceed grooming targets.
• Maintain a strong safety mindset within the team.

A Peek Into Your Petstock Day

• Provide full grooming services for a variety of breeds, including bathing, drying, nail clipping, brushing, combing and both generic and breed-specific clipping
• Provide a positive and memorable grooming experience for all customers and their dogs
• Coordinate the grooming salon and clients in conjunction with the Store Manager
• Make client bookings
• Assist store shop floor team when required, providing exceptional customer service where you and your customer will have memorable, meaningful interactions
• Maintain a consistently high standard of salon presentation and oversee stock management
• Work with the Store Manager and team to ensure member program targets and expectations are consistently met
• Proactively support local marketing opportunities and recruitment referral programs
• Work with the team to achieve and exceed sales targets
• Maintain a strong safety mindset with commitment to create a culture of safety within your team

• Qualification in Grooming preferred

• Demonstrated experience in handling and working with live animals

• Proven ability to exceed grooming KPIs through high-quality care, customer satisfaction, and strong team collaboration
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively engage with customers and team members
