Job summary

The Meat & Wine Co is seeking Grill Chefs to join our kitchen team at South Perth and CBD locations. You’ll be responsible for delivering perfectly cooked steaks and high‑quality dishes, working with premium meats and managing the grill section with precision.

You’ll thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑standard environment, bringing teamwork, reliability, and a passion for quality food to every service. Casual positions with 38 hours available across a rotating 7‑day roster.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in a similar kitchen or grill-focused role
• Strong experience with flame or charcoal grilling (essential)
• Solid understanding of meat cuts, cooking temperatures, and resting
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (advantageous, not essential)
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Passion for quality food and hospitality
• Flexible availability across a 7‑day rotating roster
