Job summary

Enemix is seeking a Grid Connection Engineer to join our Sydney-based Grid Connection Team. You will coordinate network connection activities across construction and operating assets, interfacing with asset management, construction, and regulators to ensure compliance and effective project delivery.

You will support commissioning, testing, and technical assessments for new developments, while leading change under NER rules and managing non-compliance processes.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills.
• Proficient English (written and spoken) and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Support network connection coordination across construction and operating assets.
• Interface with asset management, construction, development teams, and regulators.
• Ensure compliance with network rules and manage connection processes.
• Assist commissioning, testing, and technical assessments for new developments.
• Lead change processes under NER S5.2.2 and 5.3.9.
• Manage NER 4.15 non-compliance tracking and closure.
• Participate in grid suitability assessments and sizing for new projects.
• Provide weekly reporting on events and outages.
• Stay updated on industry and rule changes.
