Job summary

Wollondilly Shire Council is seeking a passionate Graphic Designer to join our Strategic Communications team, contributing to high-quality communications, marketing assets and corporate publications that reflect our brand and identity.

Based on Sydney’s southern fringe, the council offers a 35-hour week with flex-time and options to work from home, supporting creative work across print and digital media while developing your career in a supportive, community‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate III qualifications in Graphic Design or minimum 2 years’ experience in the Graphic Design industry.
• High level technical skills and expertise using Adobe applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat.
• Demonstrated experience creating effective visual communication pieces from inception through to finished product.
• Experience creating communication and marketing assets for a range of mediums including print and electronic media and for a range of target audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to think creatively when responding to design briefs with minimal detail.
• Ability to manage workloads in tight timeframes and work with the team to plan and prioritise work to meet organisational demand.

Responsibilities

• Develop communications, marketing assets and corporate publications that reflect our brand and corporate identity.
• Contribute to the development and design of communications across multiple media.
• Ensure visual pieces are effective from concept to finished product.
