Job summary

Public Sector People are partnering with a Local Council to recruit a Grants Officer for an immediate start contract. The role focuses on identifying grant opportunities, preparing submissions, and assisting with governance and reporting.

Ideal candidates will have Grants Officer experience, local government exposure, and strong writing and organisational skills to manage multiple deadlines and deliver high-quality funding submissions.

Qualifications

• Previous Grants Officer experience
• Local Government experience highly regarded
• Strong written communication skills
• Experience preparing funding submissions and reports
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines

Responsibilities

• Identify grant opportunities and monitor funding streams
• Assist with preparation and submission of grant applications
• Coordinate grant reporting and acquittals
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain accurate grant records and documentation
• Support funding initiatives across the organisation
