Job summary

The Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action is seeking a Program Officer in Melbourne. You will provide business and system support for grants programs and their management systems, help with open/close activities, onboarding, and funding agreements, and assist with data fixes and reporting.

The role includes some light system administration and a focus on teamwork and stakeholder relations. Based at 8 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne, hybrid work arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in supporting grants processes are highly desirable.
• Knowledge of grants management policy/procedure and systems would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide business and system support/advice to users in grants program areas and on grants management systems.
• Support program open/closing activities, onboarding of programs and funding agreements, and initial issue resolution.
• Assist with data fix/reporting activities and contribute to team projects as required.
• Opportunity to learn system administration tasks such as user management and simple form development.
