The Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action is seeking a Program Officer in Melbourne. You will provide business and system support for grants programs and their management systems, help with open/close activities, onboarding, and funding agreements, and assist with data fixes and reporting.
The role includes some light system administration and a focus on teamwork and stakeholder relations. Based at 8 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne, hybrid work arrangements are available.

The Program Officer provides business and system support/advice to users in the grants program areas and on the use of the grants management systems. The role is required to support the program open/closing activities, onboarding of programs and funding agreements, attend to initial issue resolution, data fix/reporting activities, and contribute to team's projects as required. The role will have the opportunity to learn and perform some system administration activities such as user management and simple form development. Attention to detail and developing and maintaining effective working relationships within the team and with broader grants users is integral to the role.
