Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Graduate Water Resources Engineer in Melbourne to join our Water Resources team, working on flood risk management, hydrological modelling and water infrastructure projects from day one.

You will collaborate with engineers, scientists and planners, contribute to design and analysis, and participate in a structured graduate program that includes mentoring, skill-building and networking opportunities.

Qualifications

• Final-year or completed Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive, adaptable, and professional.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to projects including transport, flood studies, stormwater management and design.
• Support drainage design, water quality and hydraulic modelling for infrastructure.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage with local and national initiatives.
• Involve in project coordination, report writing and client engagement.
