Job summary

AECOM’s Perth Water Resources team is seeking a Graduate Hydrologist to support flood, drainage and water resources projects across mining, development and government clients. You’ll work with experienced engineers on projects spanning flood modelling, stormwater management and catchment assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or Hydrology.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a graduate program.

Responsibilities

• Develop hydrologic and hydraulic models (e.g. TUFLO W, RORB, HEC-RAS) for flood/drainage studies.
• Support data collection, GIS analysis, and catchment delineation for inputs.
• Contribute to technical reports, design drawings, and client deliverables under guidance.
• Assist with site investigations, data gathering and field assessments as required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including transport and mining engineers.
• Help prepare proposals and scopes of work.
