Job summary

Symbio, part of the Aussie Broadband Group, is seeking a Graduate Customer Solutions Engineer in Melbourne. You will gain hands-on experience, receive dedicated mentoring, and work on customer solutions that make a real impact from day one.

This role is based in Melbourne with a hybrid work model that combines office and remote working, designed to accelerate your early-career growth in technology and customer engagement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Telecommunications or related discipline completed within the last two years.
• Exposure to networking, cloud technologies or cyber security through internships, projects or work experience is valued.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Senior Customer Solutions Engineers and Provisioning to design and deliver tailored telecom and networking solutions.
• Learn how enterprise-grade technologies come together, including NBN, fibre, CPE, VoIP, data centre services, security and IP networking.
• Interact with customers to understand business and technical requirements and support delivery of solutions.
• Contribute to solution design activities, product evaluations and technical research while building consulting skills.
• Support customer implementations, hypercare and handover activities for a seamless experience.
• Develop troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities alongside experienced professionals.
• Explore AI, automation and cloud technologies and their application in telecommunications.
• Follow a structured development pathway with mentoring and milestones to accelerate growth.
• Participate in graduate program workshops and networking with other graduates.
