Symbio, part of the Aussie Broadband Group, seeks a Graduate Software Engineer in Sydney on a hybrid basis. Start date 9 February 2027.

You will work with experienced engineers, contribute to real projects and develop your technical skills from day one. Ideal candidates have a recent Computer Science or Software Engineering degree, exposure to languages like Golang, Java, Python or JavaScript, and a passion for technology.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline completed within the last two years.
• Internships, university projects or work experience are valued but not required.
• Exposure to programming languages such as Golang, Java, Python, JavaScript or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain and support software applications and platforms.
• Build new features and capabilities to meet customer and business requirements.
• Contribute to high-quality, scalable and resilient software solutions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product and Operations teams to solve complex business challenges.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and work with stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot, test and improve existing applications and services.
• Learn and apply engineering best practices and coding standards.
