Job summary

Endeavour Engineering Group in Western Sydney, NSW, is seeking a Graduate Remedial Engineer to join our growing team. You will gain hands-on experience in site inspections, reporting, and remedial design under supervision.

This role suits a recent engineering graduate; you will work within a small team, receive mentoring, and grow technical judgement while delivering practical solutions for building defects and waterproofing across Sydney and regional NSW.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a civil or structural focus.
• Completed Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Basic understanding of structural behaviour and interest in building defects, waterproofing, and remedial construction.
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to present technical information clearly and logically.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a small technical team.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced engineers with site inspections of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings; observe defects, take measurements, record photos, and document site conditions.
• Contribute to the preparation of technical reports describing observed defects, likely causes, and remedial options for advisory, dispute, or litigation matters.
• Support the preparation of remedial design documentation with mark-ups, sketches, and input, coordinating with the drafting team.
• Assist with project coordination tasks, including site access, liaising with contractors, and maintaining inspection records.
• Contribute to quality assurance by reviewing drawings and reports for completeness and alignment with company standards.
