Job summary

Blacktown City Council is seeking a motivated Graduate Project Officer to support the Western Sydney Infrastructure Grant Program and related projects. You will work with project managers, consultants and Council teams to move projects from planning to delivery, handling plans, budgets, tenders and governance.

You will monitor progress, identify risks, compile reports and contribute to audits and governance, gaining hands-on experience across a varied project portfolio.

Qualifications

• Qualification in construction project management or related field is required.
• Strong ability to coordinate projects from planning through delivery.
• Good understanding of budgeting, tendering and governance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects from planning through delivery with PMs, consultants and contractors.
• Prepare project plans and budgets and manage tender/RFQ processes.
• Support contract administration and maintain project registers and records.
