Job summary

Blacktown City Council is seeking a Graduate Project Officer to support the Western Sydney Infrastructure Grant Program and other major projects in Blacktown. You will assist with planning, budgeting, tendering, contract administration and reporting to senior staff.

Grow practical project management skills in a supportive team, with flexible working arrangements and a stable local government environment that fosters development and community impact.

Qualifications

• Must have qualification in construction project management, engineering or related field.
• Able to coordinate projects from planning through to delivery.
• Familiar with tender and RFQ processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project plans and budgets.
• Manage tender and RFQ processes.
• Support contract administration.
• Maintain project registers and records.
• Prepare reports, briefs and correspondence for Council and senior stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, resolve issues.
