Job summary

Blacktown City Council is seeking a motivated graduate for a Project Officer role within its Project Management and Design teams. You will support the Western Sydney Infrastructure Grant Program and related projects from planning to delivery, coordinating with managers, consultants and contractors.

You will prepare project plans, manage budgets, support tender/RFQ processes, and assist contract administration while maintaining records and reporting to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Graduates with qualifications in construction project management, engineering or a related field.
• Able to coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors and Council teams.
• Experience in monitoring progress, managing risks and reporting for governance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects from planning through to delivery.
• Prepare project plans and budgets.
• Support tender and RFQ processes.
• Assist with contract administration and maintain project registers.
• Prepare reports, briefs and correspondence for Council and senior stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and resolve issues to keep projects on track.
