Job summary

Blacktown City Council is seeking a Graduate Project Officer to help deliver the Western Sydney Infrastructure Grant Program and other transformational projects in Blacktown. You will work with project managers, consultants, contractors and council teams from planning to delivery, preparing plans, budgets and reports for senior stakeholders.

You will monitor progress, identify risks, support audits and governance, and contribute to a portfolio of infrastructure and community improvements that

Qualifications

• Graduate with qualifications in construction project management, engineering or related field.
• Experience coordinating with project managers, consultants, contractors and council teams is beneficial.
• Ability to prepare project plans, budgets and reports for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects from planning through to delivery.
• Assist with tender and RFQ processes and contract administration.
• Maintain project registers and documentation; prepare briefs and correspondence for council.
